The Truetimber Story
Scott set out to build a business that provided top-quality arbor care, was actively involved in the community, and never lost sight of its most important asset: its employees. 25 years later, Truetimber is Richmond’s largest tree care business, providing year-round jobs for over 40 employees, and has developed a full-scale training academy.
As Truetimber continued growing, Scott realized the business could benefit from outside partnership. While evaluating this route, Scott met the Canopy team, and it became apparent their focus on talent and culture, legacy preservation, and desire to provide patient capital for growth were exactly what Truetimber needed.
